Senior photos, take 2!

I met Liv about 7 years ago when my girls started dance at our local studio. Liv was the class assistant, and my girls quickly grew to love her. Her kind, sweet personality meant all the littles adored having her as their helper.

For her first senior photos, I asked Liv to model for me. I desperately wanted to do a session at Good Harbor Beach, so Liv and her mom drove out for a session. I was vacationing up there already, nd we almost couldn't do the session. Nasty rain and a storm ALMOST crushed our plans, but they wanted to take the chance. We had maybe 1.5 hours of no rain, and we had a blast!

But, Liv wanted to have two very different looks for her photos. So, come this fall she reached out to me about doing some again, this time... in a field with wild flowers.

Now, I had a hard time finding wild flowers around us, but Spencer Abbey is a gorgeous setting for photos, so we decided on this location and got to work.

Liv also requested to have some photos taken with a flag. The flag was once her father's, who had recently passed away. It held so much meaning to Olivia.. it helped us create gorgeous, meaningful portraits.

I love that she wanted this in her photos, a life long memory of her past, and her beliefs and love of her country.

We are...

Proud to be an American!

The image above is my favorite from her session. Both powerful and moving, the dramatic sky we had that night made it all the more moving.

I love my country, I love my freedoms. My husband is a US Army Veteran, having fought in Iraq and served his country in many missions prior to his tour overseas. My freedoms, our freedoms, we are grateful for them. We do not take them for granted, because we know the price paid to have them.
